House Hunt

This is a parcel inventory, including homes that may or may not be for sale. One row means one tax parcel or assessment identifier, which may contain several buildings or units.

Make a useful view

Click a table heading to sort. Open a panel's settings with its top-right chevrons to filter, choose columns, or switch to a native chart. Change the global filter bar above the panels to apply the same criteria to table and map. The initial municipality filter includes both villages and all in-scope records.

Click an inventory row to locate it on the map; click a map point to find its row. Click the selected property again or press Escape to clear. Selection links individual parcels in ungrouped views.

Panel settings contain local filters that affect that panel only. Keep both panels as Detail for shared global filtering. Selection preserves your filters and reports when the other panel hides a property. Panning or zooming the map does not filter the table. For an area, use global latitude and longitude range filters.

Unknown coordinates are excluded from the map but remain in the table. Points are parcel representative points, not front doors. Different assessment IDs can overlap. Basemap tiles require a connection to OpenStreetMap; if the background is blank, the property data and table still work. © OpenStreetMap contributors.

Read the numbers carefully

Assessment full market value is an assessment attribute, not an asking price or valuation. Full bathrooms exclude unknown half bathrooms. Distances are straight-line meters to the nearest point in the loaded station/park catalogs, not walking routes. Mapped lot area is calculated from the source polygon; reported acreage is a separate source observation.

The current source has many missing bedroom, bathroom and living-area observations. It reports zero assessment full market value for nearly every Tarrytown record, so this field cannot support a reliable budget filter. Unknown values have not been filled in.

Transfer data depends on manually imported Sales Web exports. “Not loaded” means no applicable import. A missing match within a covered window does not establish ownership duration. Nulls appear as dashes; they mean unknown, not zero.

Your saved workspace

Changes save automatically in this browser when storage is available. Export/import view moves the layout and filters as JSON. It does not synchronize notes or change the shared dataset. Reset view restores the original table and map. Everyone with access can download the complete dataset; browser filters are not access controls.
